Wonderful experience! Came in for a quick service and Mike (the owner) helped me to get in and out. Quick painless service and had a great conversation with him. He truly cares about his business and his customers. HIGHLY recommend AAMCO in West Caldwell
The service here is unbelievable! My car broke down and it turned out I needed a new valve body on my transmission. It just happens that there’s an Aamco right by house. They had some great reviews from past customers and so, I called them and spoke to Mike. I explained the situation and had the car towed there. They ran a full diagnostics and indeed it was the valve body that needed to be replaced. My air conditioning was also not working and turned out my ac compressor also needed to be replaced. Based on what I researched on how much these jobs cost, their price was very reasonable. The job does come with a 12 month/12,000 warranty which definitely gives me piece of mind. The best part of this whole experience however, was the excellence customer service both Mike and Ryan had provided. They definitely made me feel at ease by telling me they replace valve bodies on a regular basis and this is nothing new to them. They fixed the car in only a few days and they even wash your car, which you really only see at dealerships. When I drove my car from the lot, I swear it drives better than before it broke down. Kudos to Mike and Ryan for doing such a wonderful job! I found my new mechanic shop for my future repairs and so happy that it’s walking distance from home. If any of you have issues with your car, I highly recommend you go here! You won’t be disappointed! You’ll get dealership service, without the dealership price!
Mike and Kyle are great, had some electrical and transmission issues with my truck and they were able to fix it and worked closely with me on it every step of the way. Highly recommend this shop!

I had such a great experience here and can't recommend AAMCO of West Caldwell enough! Mike, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind. He took the time to look over my vehicle, explain everything clearly, and made me feel like a priority. Not rushed at all. I also spoke with one of the mechanics who was friendly and knowledgeable, which really says a lot about the team Mike has built. You can tell they care about their customers. With the new management, AAMCO of West Caldwell is on its way to being the #1 go to spot for vehicle repairs! I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend others to do the same!
